The pages are thick heavyweight paper. To my uneducated eye, the binding looks to be sewn. The illustrations are about half-and-half black and white or color (see images). The color illustrations are rich with a watercolor aesthetic.

CONDITION _____ You will receive the very book or magazine that is shown. If there odors, stains, writing, highlighting, loose or missing pages, or other damage, I will tell you here:
_____This is a very well-read, used children's book. As such there are a couple traces of crayon on the back cover as can be seen in the image. The covers' corners are well-bumped/worn. All cover edges have chipping.
_____ The binding is fully intact, but the spine on the outside is heavily worn at top and bottom with tears and is separating at top 4" (see image). Previous owner (young boy) signed his name on inside front cover (see image).
_____There is soiling to front and back cover. There is faint age-toning to the pages' outside edges. >>> Upon opening the book, it is seemingly like original condition with only faint age-toning at pages' outer edges (see images). There is a very mild 'old-book' odor to the pages—I emphasize very mild. There are about 12 pages that have smudge or stain—the worst can be seen in one of the images.
